In some cases, it can be a bit tricky to use the Miniscope. Therefore we've made a guide for you, see if this helps!
All Miniscopes can magnify 60-120X with a sharp image, provided that it's used correctly.
Here are the most common mistakes we see, so that you know what not to do: Not turning on the LED, holding the Miniscope too far away from the object, not keeping it completely still.
The best comparison we can make is trying to look at something right next to you with a pair of binoculars, while also moving it around. In that case it will be hard to see much.😅
Now you know what not to do, so here's what to do: Start with inserting 1 AAA battery and turn on the LED. It's important that the LED is turned on, as the image will be completely black otherwise.
The image quality is determined by the distance from the lens to the object you're looking at and if the microscope is kept still or not. We therefore recommend starting on a completely flat surface, such as a table, to easily get the correct distance.
Place the Miniscope completely against the surface you want to look at and adjust the magnification by turning the two black wheels. The one at the top is to change between 60-120x magnification, the bottom one is to set the focus by adjusting the distance.
When you start looking at more complex things, you'll need to experiment until you find the right distance and sharpness, but that's part of the fun!😊
